The Amateur Team World Cup of Golf 2012 is a unique event that lets the average golfer take part in a major golf event that most could never qualify for. The event is to be held in County Kerry in the stunning South West of Ireland where four days of magical golf awaits our men’s and ladies' teams as they face the challenges that golf in the south west of Ireland can offer.
To represent you Country's Mens or Ladies team, all members must:
* Be members of a registered Golf Club or National golf association
* Hold a Passport in the name of the Country you represent
* Have an Official handicap (Maximum handicap:- Men 24, Women 28)
* Multiple Country team entries are allowed
Tournament Format: 4-Person Team event
Team Format: 2-Person best ball ¾ handicap
* The two, two ball teams combine their score after each round to get their total score for the day
* The team with the best score after 4 days play are champions
* Each 4 person team will play all 4 courses over the 4 days of the event
