While it might not be good form to blow your own trumpet on the golf course, at A Golfing Experience, we’ve got a little bit more than a hole in one to celebrate. In 2019 we’ll be marking a very special milestone: the 30th anniversary of our company.
Golfing: A Love Story
If you’d told us three decades ago, when we started A Golfing Experience, that 30 long and happy years later we’d still be here helping individuals and groups plan their perfect golf holidays from our base in Buckinghamshire… we would definitely have believed you! Right from the start we’ve had a clear vision and we know what sets us apart: our genuine passion for the game, our expertise and our solid commitment to giving our customers the best service possible.
Any true aficionado knows that golfing isn’t just a hobby, it’s a way of life – and, even for those who don’t get out there on the greens quite as often as they’d like, once it’s in your bones, it stays there. It’s the understanding of that feeling that makes us different from many of our competitors, because we know these things to be true:

- Not all golf travel operators are created equal

A Golfing Experience for Everyone
We’re extremely proud to be able to say we can please all of the people all of the time! Well, at least when it comes to golf holidays. We work with individuals, pro golfers, societies and groups to organise a bespoke experience that ticks every box. When it comes to accommodation, we’re in the know about the best hotels and resorts for any budget, and we can organise a package for any occasion, any amount of people and any destination.
As well as the major golf destinations of Europe (like France, Spain, Portugal, Cyprus and Turkey), we’ve also got the pleasure of introducing our customers to some exotic, far-flung golf courses in Bermuda, Mauritius, Dubai, the USA, St Kitts and Nevis and Mexico. You think we’d be tired after 30 years, but we feel like we’re just getting started!
Accreditation Matters
While at the heart of our business we’re looking to get our customers out on the world’s best courses to make their clubs swing and their hearts sing (humour me, it’s our special year…), in today’s travel climate it’s extremely important to have the backing of the most prestigious industry bodies. Our customers can travel and play safely – after all, we’re fully bonded with ABTA and ATOL and have membership with IAGTO and AITO.
