This magnificent, well-known Cape Town building boasts sweeping views of Table Mountain (below which it lies), the Harbour and Table Bay. Dating back to the 1920’s, the lodge is exceptionally stylish, with an impressive white exterior and attractive wooden-framed windows, looking out on views in all directions.

Conveniently situated in Oranjezicht, the lodge has easy access to the Waterfront, the mountain and the beaches of Camps Bay and Clifton offering the comfort of a small hotel within a stone’s throw of the heart of Cape Town.

House offers all the services you would expect of a 4-star hotel, including free wireless internet connectivity. All rooms are fitted with fans and heaters, tea/coffee - making facilities, and en-suite bath and/or shower. Each room has a television and a mini-bar and all the facilities one would expect from a four-star establishment.

The interiors are classic and unfussy, with polished pine floors and newly-refurbished curtains and linens. The nine rooms are extremely well-appointed, with spacious and classy tiled en-suite bathrooms. 

A sumptuous, full English breakfast as well as a sugar free breakfast is served every morning in the dining room or around the pool in the garden - an impressive array of fresh fruits, cold meats, cheeses and smoked salmon, as well as a range of cooked breakfasts. A light meals menu is available all day and dinner is available on request.

There is a wide range of excellent restaurants nearby and transfers to and from these establishments can be arranged. 

The colourful gardens are home to plentiful birds and squirrels and the pool provides the perfect place to while away the hours on a sun-bed with a large gin and tonic and a view over the city and the bay to Bloubergstrand and the Hottentots-Hollands Mountains in the North.
