Overview Fota Island Golf Island

Located in the 780 acre estate  "The Inventory of Outstanding Landscapes in Ireland" there are 3 courses woven into splendid woodlands very much in the traditional mode. Originally designed by Cristy O'Conner Jnr and Peter McEvoy the Jeff Howes Golf Design team upgraded the course in 1998 with The Deerpark Course hosting the Irish Open in 2001 & 2002.In July 2007 there was an addition 9 holes added desiged by Jeff Howes, so the golf club now boasts 3  Championship standard configurations. The original Deerpark Course par71, Belvelly Par 72 and Barryscourt Par 73.

Fota Island will be holding a EuroPro Tour Event in 2011.
