North Berwick West Links

Play the world famous North Berwick West Links. North Berwick is a golf course loved by golfers from all over the world. A unique old fashioned links course with many memorable holes, not overly long in length but a strong challenge on a windy day this course is enjoyable for all standards of golfer.

North Berwick’s 15th hole is called ‘The Redan’ and is said to be the most copied Par 3 in world golf, at 180 yards from the Championship tee and with its semi blind and contoured green it makes for a great hole.

The course has a St Andrews like feel to it as the course starts and finishes in the town centre and also with the front 9 all heading west and the back 9 coming back east it can really make scoring interesting on breezy days. The West Links is steeped in history and has hosted many major events, this really is a must play for any golfer visiting the Edinburgh and Lothian Region.

Gullane Number 1

Golf has been played on Gullane hill since 1882. With three fantastic links courses all varying in length and difficulty it has always been hugely popular with visitors from all over the world.

The courses here are numbered with Number 1 being the Championship course which has hosted many major amateur events and also Final Qualifying for the Open Championship on several occasions. Number 2 is an excellent links of average length and is great value for the price of the green fee. Number 3 is a more gentler challenge at only 5250 yards but immensely enjoyable.

Gullane’s three courses meander round Gullane hill which provides stunning views of Edinburgh and beyond. In the past few years Gullane has been renowned locally for its exceptional condition in particular the lightening quick greens.

KINGSBARNS GOLF LINKS*

(pictured 1st Green)

Opened in July of 2000, Kingsbarns has quickly emerged as one of the top courses on the Scottish links golf landscape. Located just down the coast from St. Andrews, Kingsbarns is already considered a ‘must play.’ It offers spectacular views of the North Sea on every hole. Along with the Old Course and Carnoustie, it is the venue for the annual Dunhill Links Championship, a European PGA Tour event.

The Renaissance Club

Designed by the renowned American architect Tom Doak, Renaissance opened in 2008 to great acclaim.

The course is played through a pine forest with stunning views of the Firth of Forth. It is an extremely challenging layout from the Championship tees at a length of 7,500 yards but can be much more pleasurable for the average golfer from the members tees at 6,250 yards.

An exclusive club that provides world class levels of service is available to our clients and an opportunity not to be missed when in Scotland.

Kilspindie Golf Club, Aberlady

Kilspindie is a favourite of any golfer who has played it: quick, deceptive greens; well-defined fairways; a good challenge, whatever your handicap! Kilspindie has been host to an alternative Ryder Cup, with 12-man teams playing with pre-1930’s hickory shafted clubs.

Kilspindie is reputed to be the 35th oldest golf club in the world, instituted in 1867. The charm of the 114-year-old is complemented by the warmth of the welcome from the Club’s Secretary/Manager John Leslie, Golf Pro Graham Sked, Mrs Marion Harkness and her dedicated bar staff, and Ross Turner and his catering staff.
