For starters you can probably leave the jumper at home with the tropical climate and average annual temperatures of 28°C. Thailands high (and dry) season is November to May. A Golfing Experience travelled in July 2017 and didn’t see the waterproof jacket after stepping foot on the plane in the UK, although there was the occasional heavy shower in the evening. Generally the best time to travel is in the European winter to escape for some warm weather Golfing.

Black Mountain Golf Course (pictured) in Hua Hin is one of the best I have been fortunate enough to play; well maintained, high quality facilities with welcoming service and the always friendly caddies. The local experts, these caddies will be on hand to assist with some masterful reading of the greens, yardages, club selection and in some cases a bit too much time searching for lost golf balls. The condition of all of the golf courses we played was fantastic, and while we didn’t even scratch the surface (Thailand is home to over 250) we can certainly vouch for the quality of; Black Mountain, Springfield, Royal Ratchuibri, Uniland & Mountain Creek.

Hua Hin itself is home of the King, Thailands Royal beach resort. The relaxed and family friendly atmosphere, along with some world class golf courses make this a great option for your Golf Holiday in Thailand.  We recommend a number of 5* Hotels, directly on beach and with easy access into the town;  Anatara, Marriott, Centara Grand & Hilton are all fantastic options. Some might be better than others for couples, with a more relaxed Thai authentic feel, while the more modern and western hotels might be better for groups of Golfers or families, so feel free to contact us for an expert opinion!

In Bangkok feel the buzz of the city in the evening; good food, drink and entertainment await at the night market at Asiatique. We stayed at the Sheraton Royal Orchid Hotel, which is located in the high end riverside district and you can get a river boat directly from the hotel to Asiatiqiue. After dinner why not head over the Bangkok Sky Bar for some amazing views, live music and an all round classy evening. Take in the city with a Tour of the sights, including the ‘Grand Palace’, or take a trip to one of Thailands iconic floating markets.
