Spring, from March to May, also offers a mild climate with temperatures between 18 and 24°C, lush vegetation, and sunny days that are not too hot.
Winter, from December to February, allows for golf in the Algarve and Lisbon with temperatures between 15 and 20°C, though some northern regions may be wetter.
In summer, from June to August, it’s best to play early in the morning or late in the afternoon to avoid the intense heat, especially in the Algarve and inland areas where temperatures can reach 30 to 35°C.
