Overview Gondwana Game Reserve
Gondwana Game Reserve is a game reserve situated near the town of
Mossel Bay in the Western Cape of South Africa, a malaria-free area.
Kwena Lodge offers world-class Game Reserve Accommodation with a modern and luxurious twist on the traditional Khoi-San circular dwelling – augmented with all the amenities of a modern Luxury Hotel.
Each open plan Kwena Room is designed to connect visitors to their beautiful surroundings with 180-degree views and skylights for star gazing.

The Gondwana Conservation Foundation (GCF) has been established as a non
profit organisation to contribute to the conservation of South Africa’s
threatened and endangered wildlife and vegetation relevant to the
Southern Cape of South Africa through active management, training and
skills development of the local people.
Nomadic Khoisan people were the first inhabitants of the Mossel Bay area. Caves in which the remains of several Khoisan settlements have been found are located nearby, with one located at the starting point of the walking trail to the nearby town of Dana Bay, now a national monument.
