Buffelsdrift is a game lodge with a spectacular setting on a natural waterhole in the Cango Valley with a backdrop of the Swartberg Mountains. The main lodge is a wood and thatch structure built on stilts in the waterhole; a large restaurant, bar and viewing deck make up the important features of the complex. With 25 luxury tented rooms, each with private deck at the water’s edge, you can retire or advance as you choose.
The à la carte restaurant showcases the hearty Karoo appetite with specialities of lamb, ostrich and freshly baked bread with home-made preserves. Ingredients are fresh and locally sourced for the authentic taste. Route 62 happens to be the longest wine route in the world and their wine list is a reflection of the variety available.
