Widely acclaimed as one of the finest inland courses in the North of England, Worsley Park Country Club is a classic championship design that uses the full potential of the natural terrain including seven water hazards. The course is set on gently rolling parkland, formerly the Duke of Bridgewater’s estate. Worsley Park has played host to the PGA EuroPro Tour in 2004 and the European Challenge Tour from 2005 to 2007.
Worsley Park Country Club has become one of the best and most popular courses in the northwest of England. Everyone from seasoned professionals to aspiring young players enjoy the challenge of its natural obstacles and water features that reward an accurate game.
Designed by European Golf Design in association with Michael King, the course meets the highest standards with greens and tees created to USGA specifications. The strategic positioning of the bunkers with clearly sighted tees demands careful thought on how to play each hole. Hole 7 is the course signature hole, a par 3, and requires a precise tee shot to negotiate the two water hazards that make this both a challenging and picturesque hole. An all-weather buggy path is a recent addition to further enhance the playing experience.
Worsley Park Country Club also features comprehensive practice facilities including a long game practice area, short game facility, and putting green.
