Oporo Golf Club is located 20 minutes south of Porto.
It was founded in 1890 by British Port wine traders and is the oldest on the Iberian Peninsula and the 4th oldest golf course in Continental Europe.
It is the most classic "links" experience of all courses in Portugal. Inaugurated in 1934 as the first 18 hole course in the country and redeveloped several times including in 1958 by architects Mackensie Ross and Frank Pennink.
The clubhouse is a living museum where members are honoured to keep the traditions of golf at the highest level.
A lively members club with a strong juniors section policy will ensure a good future for this historic club.
