The Montado Golf Course, located just 35 kilometers south of Lisbon, is nestled in the heart of the Montado hotel complex. Surrounded by the ancient and renowned Moscatel vineyards, the golf course offers a true haven of peace and beauty. Designed by architect Jorge Santana da Silva, the course reopened in 2006 after extensive renovation. Relatively flat, the 18-hole course winds through cork oaks, olive trees, chestnuts, and pines, intersected by streams and natural lakes. The greens are quite spacious, with each hole offering its own unique feature, including the last hole, which surprises as it is situated on an island. The Montado Golf Course boasts a splendid clubhouse with a spa, sauna, Turkish bath, perfect for unwinding after a day on the greens!
