Overview Montado

After a detailed revamp Montado Golf course re-opened in 2006. The course is still surrounded by famous muscatel vineyards that have been there over a century but the design has been beefed up with added length and more challenges, making it a great risk reward layout. The 160-yard 18th epitomises the new Montado, similar to the 17th at TPC Sawgrass this short finishing hole calls for a brave shot and accurate shot. The 13th is another great hole proving impressive views of Palmela Castle and usually a birdie opportunity.

There are four sets of tees, taking the course from nearly 7,000 yards down to around 5,200 yards, so it can be enjoyed by players of most ability levels.
