Lauro Golf, designed by Folco Nardi, was built at the begining of the nineties of an ancient farmhouse (Spanish Cortijo) with land of fruit and olive trees. From the beginning, the character of the course has been the existence of trees and water, due to its original nine lakes. Later, in January 2003, Mariano Benítez designed an additional nine hole course to be combined with the original 18 holes, completing the twenty-seven holes that Lauro Golf offers to the general public at the moment. Its excellent location in the Guadalhorce valley gives it a spectacular view over landscape of natural beauty making it a unique golf course. The high standard of maintenance, especially the quality of the greens, together with its reasonable prices policy, have made Lauro Golf very popular for the golfers coming to the Costa del Golf.
Learn, practice and play at Lauro Golf. From its opening, Lauro Golf has been noted for its sporting spirit which has created over the years a small school for young promising golf players whose aim is competition at the highest level.
The club house is located in an ancient Andalusian building, cortijo El Paredón, which has an excellent service of restaurant, changing-rooms, pro-shop and office.
