Overview Koksijde Golf Ter Hille

The ultimate goal by Architect  Jeremy Pern was was to create a golf experience similar to the typical (inland) links courses in Belgium.


The course's characterized by a rolling landscape, dunes and grasses that require a poor dry soil. High rough and deep bunkers are among the obstacles that need to be overcome.


The lack of trees and a location nearby the North Sea, make the never ending wind an important factor. The dehydration and discoloration in dry periods is inherent to a links course.


 Compared with the many parkland courses in Belgium, a links course is indeed a challenge and worth stopping at which several British Golfers have been doing recently !

A lovely course very challenging in the wind. Drainage was excellent with fairways and greens in super condition. Staff welcoming and extremely helpful. 04/24

Fairly new course (10 years old) and as such it will continue to mature over the years. That said, it is already very good with an abundance of water and greens/fairways were in excellent condition. Not overly long but a good challenge. Just an hour from eurotunnel so was perfect for us as a first day course en route to bruges. Sept 2023
