The Indiana golf course was opened in 2002, designed by Peter McEvoy to
rival the best desert courses of America, the Indiana Course would look
completely at home in Arizona. Beyond the not overly wide slivers of
fairway, lies typical desert rough, containing a fine array of cactus
and wild desert flowers; beware the occasional snake or scorpion!
In keeping with Desert Springs' influences, the course is littered with cactus, rocks and dry river beds which present considerable obstacles. The beautiful contrasts of colours and shapes that the landscape offers make for an amazing backdrop which is perfectly complemented by the course itself.
This par 72 is Europe's first desert course and is both fun, challenging and always visually stunning; bright green fairways contrast vibrantly with the surrounding arid landscape of cactus, rock and flowering desert. There are over 150,000 cactus on the course.
