A 92-hectare estate dedicated to golf at the gates of the city of Caen, this course offers a magnificent golfing experience. Designed by Fred W. Hawtree, a renowned Scottish architect, the golf course was created in 1990. Initially featuring 18 holes (Plaine-Vallon), the course was structured around a wooded area on agricultural land. An additional 9-hole course, the Bois course, was later added in the forest.
Today, the 27 holes perfectly integrate the natural relief and differences in altitude, challenging beginners and experts alike. The estate’s current configuration offers a natural escape just 10 minutes from Caen city center. The plantation during construction and the mature trees of the Bois course provide habitat for numerous species. Encounters with deer, hares, and various birds are common, with a complete inventory of fauna and flora conducted by the Bird Protection League.
