Overview Bergamo L'Albenza Golf Club
27 holes, par 72, blue course m. 3151 - yellow course, m. 3102 - red course, m. 3027. The green foothills of the Alps are a wonderful setting for this course situated only 12 km. far from the old city of Bergamo Alta, a Lombard jewel as for art and medieval architecture. Surrounded by a luxuriant vegetation of conifers and broadleaved trees providing a pleasantly cool climate also in summer, Golf Club L’Albenza was founded nearly forty years ago and is one of the most beautiful and demanding courses in Italy, set in a beautiful landscape. It boasts one of the longest par-5 holes in Europe. Originally an 18-hole course, another 9 holes have been added later on. They are characterized by rather small and well-protected greens, many trees and streams. In 1996 the Italian Open was held here.
