Experience Great Golf at Pannónia
Opened in 1997, the Pannónia Golf& Country Club is located in a picturesque setting around 40kms west of thecapital. With high quality golfing, stunning views and extensive facilities,it’s a case of once tried, never forgotten.
The Course
The setting of the course is certainlystriking, with views over the delightful natural surrounds of woodland, lakesand gently rolling hills. On one side is the charming village of Alcsútdoboz andon the other is the Etyek wine growing region. Of course, the views are not theonly attraction – no matter what your skill level, you’ll be able to enjoy aninspirational game that has the ability to challenge you just as far as youwant it to.

The course is meticulously maintained,from the careful grooming of the tees to the upkeep of the pitching and puttingareas. Pannónia has played host to numerous international events since itsopening, including some of those for the high profile European Golf Association.
The Facilities
As well as a very nicely appointedclubhouse, where you can dine in style at the Porticus restaurant and bistro, there’s
a driving range with 30 tees, a practice bunker, a putting green, pitching
green and a chipping green. There’s also a very well stocked pro shop, and
individual or group lessons are available from the resident teaching pros.
The Game
With the course set like a classic country estate, your game will take you through a valley that rises and falls in elevation several times. In the higher elevations you’ll need to contend with some wind, but of course we all know that just adds to the challenge!
There are numerous water hazards, and the tricky position of a few of them (most notably the 17th) means you’ll need to be on top of your technical game. The 8th, which is set beside a lovely lake, is one of the most picturesque. There are six different tees, meaning that whatever your skill level you’ll be able to play according to the strengths and challenges of your own game.
