Today, we are thrilled to announce the details of our new short course at Pebble Beach, designed by Tiger Woods and his team at TGR Design. "The Hay" will open April 16 and features a nine-hole, 670-yard short course and our first-ever putting course. A new restaurant in the top corner of the property is slated to open later this year.
Peter Hay was the long-time head professional at Del Monte and Pebble Beach. Among his many attributes was a passion for introducing newcomers, particularly juniors, to the game. In 1957, he advanced his passion by developing one of the first short courses in the U.S. With this redesign, Tiger Woods has amplified Peter Hay’s vision for the property in a way few could have imagined. We can’t wait for you and your clients to experience it for yourself.

• Designed by Tiger Woods and his team at TGR Design.
• Nine-hole 670 yard short course located in the same spot as the former Peter Hay Golf Course with check-in available across the street at the Pebble Beach Golf Academy.
• The course is overflowing with fun, including an exact replica of the famed No. 7 at Pebble Beach Golf Links on hole No. 2.
• Play through Pebble Beach History as the yardage of eight holes correspond to a significant year in Pebble Beach History, with plaques on each tee telling the story.
• Holes are designed to be played with any club in the bag.
• Offers a 20,000 square-foot putting course that sprawls 100 yards, yielding endless routings and will perfect to introduce a beginner to the game, sharpen skills of an avid player or unwind before dinner.
• A new casual indoor/outdoor restaurant in the top corner of the property perched behind the 9th green is slated to open this fall.
