Mannings Heath golf day
Huelva La Luz sponsored international match golf day.
Mannings Heath just outside South London is a great destination for a weekend break. Its stunning views great accommodation and fantastic golf courses are a recipe for the perfect weekend.
The day was organised by Huelva Tourism group, keen to show us what Huelva has to offer in a great presentaion that had the whole audience wishing they were there.
The golf was set up by the English guests all dressed in matching red team shirts provided by Huelva, and the Spanish in white team shirts we all scored our own stableford points and the best 8 scores from both sides were added up and the largest total won.
The golf course (waterfall) was stunning, picturesque from almost every point on the course, a tough test of golf on a great course. Although the great English weather put a slight holt to play after 6 holes as a thunder storm meant we all had to leave the course. The service from Mannings Heath was exceptional, as this unplanned delay meant we were all kept in the wonderful 17th century clubhouse. Play resumed an hour later and on with the golf.
A lovely presentation and talk was a great way to inform us of the wonders that Huelva has to offer.
After a lovely 3 course meal, time for the results of course the English Claimed the trophy kindly donated by Marco Polacci.
