You’ll Never be a Loser in Las Vegas
Whatever your level, Las Vegas has your back. From absolute beginners just getting a tee
hold in the game (see what we did there?), to semi-pros looking to polish their skills, the
range of courses and facilities is outstanding. Here are a few to get you started.
Beginners: The Club at Sunrise
The Club at Sunrise offers more than just a pretty cool name, and this local favourite has
been around since 1964. Just 15 minutes from the famous ‘Strip’, the 18-hole course is
super accessible and offers some amazing vistas over the mountains. You’ll find some lovely
soft terrain (you’re allowed to walk it – a rarity in Vegas) with a few subtle challenges. All
equipment is available to rent at a very reasonable rate and there’s also a driving range, putting green, pro shop and the all-important pro on site for lessons. You’re in good hands! Insider tip: hole Number 4 is the one to watch.

Intermediates: Paiute Snow Mountain
If your skills sit at the intermediate level, the Pete Dye-designed Paiute Snow Mountain is an
absolute cracker. A little further out of town (around 35 minutes from The Strip) it’s hunkered
down in a magical desert setting like the oasis of little white balls that it is! The wide fairways
are a little deceiving that this could be a run-of-the-mill links course, but once you get into a
game you’ll realise it’s got some bite. With lots of hidden bunkers and a few lakes, there’s
challenges at every hole – with the 18 th providing the icing on the cake. The high quality
facilities include driving and putting ranges, practice sand traps and a fantastic clubhouse.
