Villa l’Olmo was the summer residence of the Davanzati’s, a very old and noble Florentine family, dating back to 1500. It was acquired by the current owner’s family in the middle of the 18th century. The Relais Villa l’Olmo was completely restored in 2000 with exceptional care to preserve the original structure which dates back to 1500.
The property also includes the owner’s private villa, a small restaurant and an olive press, part of the small farm which is operational to this day. Impruneta, a typical tuscan town, is a comfortable and short walk away.

Each apartment consists of a living room, fully-equipped kitchen corner, one or two double bedrooms, bathroom, direct telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, independent heating, big swimming pool and garden areas to relax and a barbecue garden for your dinner under the Tuscan sky.

The private villas offer the same comfort as the apartments but each one has, in addition, its own pool and private garden.

The large swimming pool, surrounded by white sand, sits in a beautiful green setting of olive trees and vineyards and offers a spectacular view over the valley. In the gardens there is a barbeque area where guests can enjoy their evenings whilst cooking the Tuscan specialties. In the village Impruneta, a quick walk from the Relais, guests can enjoy the experience of shopping in the small traditional stores.
The Relais allows their guests to combine a relaxing vacation in the countryside with the art and city experience of Florence... swimming in the pool amidst olive trees, and at just 10 kilometers from Florence.

All of the restaurants and trattorias of the town are within walking distance of the Relais. Our region is famous throughout the world for its specialities and it offers many different typical Tuscan restaurants, wine bars and trattorias. In the neighborhood of the Relais, either on foot or a few kilometers by car, there are many charming places where our guests will find their preferred Italian dishes. Upon arrival, the Reception Desk will present you with information about our suggested restaurants in the area.
