Spyglass Hill is just one of a number of great courses which occupy the Monterey Peninsula, and host to the annual AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am on the PGA Tour. This Robert Trent Jones Sr layout is not overshadowed by Pebble Beach but is equally impressive with stunning scenery and dramatic elevation changes. Opened in 1996, Spyglass Hill is one of Trent Jones Sr. masterpieces, the course is carved the local pine and cypress trees and then breaks out in to expansive views of the nearby Pacific Ocean. Not a very long course by modern standards Spyglass is still considered a very tough test of golf due to the unrelenting coastal winds.
