Queen's Park Golf Course is set in undulating mature parkland with picturesque treelined fairways. The rich heritage and challenging test of golf continue to draw golfers from a wide area who enjoy the unique character that Queen's Park offers.
In 1939 the Daily Mail Golf Tournament was held at Queen's Park and it was a regular on the European tour in the 1970's. There remains a distinct sense of history as well as a very mature and challenging course, where management of the game takes the driving seat to power play. During the summer months, Queen's Park is truly one of the great courses in the south of England, and certainly worth the green fee! Queen's Park Golf Course is in great condition, the best it's been for years. The fairways meander freely through many acres of lovely heathers, colourful gorse and all in a wonderful pine woodland setting. The greens are in superb condition, fast and true, providing a good challenge to even the best golfers. It is definitely living up to its reputation as one of the finest and picturesque municipal courses in the south of England.
