Overview Dorset Golf Course
The Lakeland, Parkland and Woodland Courses, designed by Martin Hawtree, offer fabulous Championship Golf for all abilities, the ultimate challenge. All Courses have been built to the highest standards and boast USGA specification greens and tees, having hosted many Championship Events including a South West PGA, West of England Amateur, MasterCard Tour Event plus numerous County Tournaments. A recently upgraded watermation system keeps the course in pristine condition even throughout the hottest of summer climate. The courses are a joy to play and considered ‘one of the best’ in the South of England. Last Winter saw huge investment on the Golf Course too with improved irrigation, additional pathways and numerous cosmetic enhancements moving the course into the next league. Set on heathland and with USGA specification sand based greens and irrigation on each hole, the courses withstands even the toughest of British weather, and hasn’t closed in over six years. Testament to a truly great all year round golf course.
